Avature Enhances its Federated Search with the Addition of Search Criteria Library

Charlotte, NC, February 6, 2013 – Avature, the leading provider of CRM software for recruiting and a pioneer in shared services sourcing technology, has announced today the release of a significant enhancement to its SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) platform: a new feature called Search Criteria Library that will be unveiled at this week’s SourceCon in Atlanta. Designed to support the Federated Search capability of Avature CRM, the new feature will allow users, Hiring Managers, and third parties to build complex, multi-site search strings in multiple languages and publish them to a shared Library for others in their organization to use. By allowing users to name, tag, and organize search strings in the Library, they can easily find the most relevant ones for any sourcing assignment.

“Global organizations need effective sourcing strategies for every market they operate in and every discipline they hire for, yet it’s impossible for a professional Recruiter or Sourcer to be an expert in writing effective search strings for every discipline, market, and local language”, commented Dimitri Boylan, Avature’s founder and CEO. “The Search Criteria Library will facilitate global collaboration and knowledge transfer among Recruiters and Sourcers while building a knowledge base over time that is tailored to a particular company’s business needs.”

Not only will the Search Criteria Library allow talent acquisition functions to easily tune their sourcing in each market, it will also help them overcome the challenges of off-shore knowledge transfer while minimizing the impact of high staff turnover.

“Recruiting organizations are eager to improve search assignment execution and establish best practices across their teams, especially in emerging markets like China and Latin America,” commented Ernie Kueffner, Senior Vice-President of Global Services for Avature, “We expect this new functionality to significantly reduce training time for Recruiters and Sourcers and ultimately reduce overall recruiting costs.”

Avature also announced that later this year it will extend its Workflow Library and Builder tool set to better manage the sourcing process. With this additional application power, Recruiting and Sourcing Managers will be able to refine their overall sourcing methods and generate fine grained sourcing progress reports.
